Meet Sean Hakes

For over 24 years, I’ve worked behind the scenes helping Colorado families, faith leaders, and small businesses have a voice in conversations that matter — whether that’s at town hall, in front of a state committee, or across the desk from a journalist.
In 2025, I launched Hakes Advocacy to take that calling public — to formally help individuals, communities, and small business owners who feel unheard, outnumbered, or boxed out of the process. I’ve built long-standing relationships with reporters, editors, legislators, councilmembers, and government officials across Colorado and beyond. When something needs to be said — I know how to get it to the right table, the right inbox, or the right camera.
As the founder of the Local Business Alliance and a faithful servant in my church and broader community, I’ve long believed in the power of ordinary people to affect extraordinary change. Whether you’re a family navigating a broken system, a pastor facing pressure, or a business owner battling local bureaucracy — I’m here to help you be heard, respected, and represented.
From crafting persuasive proposals and public testimony to building media narratives, lobbying decision-makers, and organizing communities — my mission is simple: to protect and elevate the people too often left behind in today’s system.
